Why Meon Trails?

I have lived in the Meon Valley for 20 years and have discovered over those years the beauty of our local landscapes. During the lockdown periods in 2020/21 I walked many new paths, trails and lanes in the Meon Valley. I also noticed how many long-distance paths meander their way through the area and how rich and varied the landscape is. I simply love walking in the Meon Valley and decided to give other people the opportunity to share those experiences too. Every day is different and every walk is different. I will always be learning about the geography, history, and wildlife on my walking routes.  Indeed, sometimes they reveal some very interesting and unusual facts. I look forward to welcoming you on one of my walks in the near future.

Why walk with us

Meon Trails walks are perfect for individuals, couples or friends who would like to join a small group of others on a fully guided walk through the Hampshire countryside. Our walks are led personally by qualified and experienced guide, Paul Turner.

Paul is passionate about helping people to discover and explore the footpaths and trails in and around the Meon Valley. He has researched and designed routes which take you through the beautiful countryside so you can relax, enjoy the stunning views and all without the need to refer to a map.
